Local Author Fair

You are invited to attend our biannual Local Author Fair! Come meet your favorite local writers or discover a new one! Authors will be available to discuss and sell their work. 

Authors that would like to participate in the 2026 Local Author Fair, please apply between Jan. 31 and March 16.

History of the Local Author Fair

The Local Author Fair began in 2014 with a desire to give Beaverton-area writers a local venue to meet their readers and network with other local authors. This event is held in the main library's first floor meeting rooms, the fair accommodates 30-35 authors, with priority given to residents of Washington County.
