One Book, One Beaverton: A History of the Industrial Workers of the World (Wobblies) in the Pacific Northwest (at Main)

Wednesday, January 5, 2022

No group has been more mythologized in American labor history than the Industrial Workers of the World, and Jess Walter's "The Cold Millions" joins a long list of songs, plays, novels, and academic histories that celebrate the Wobblies. Professor Steven Beda, a historian of the American labor movement from the University of Oregon, will illuminate the true history of the IWW in Oregon and Washington. Registration required.
