Ever been on a train or bus and wished you had something to read? For commuters who use the Beaverton Transit Center, that wish is about to come true.
Through an agreement with TriMet, Beaverton City Library has launched Grab & Go, a collection of free books available to commuters who stop at the busy Beaverton Transit Center.
The Grab & Go collection consists of donated books, so no library card or check-out is needed. Moreover, readers don’t even need to return books when they’re finished reading. Users of the Grab & Go service are encouraged to pass their book on to someone else or add it to their own collection. Books are provided by Beaverton City Library and the New Friends of the Beaverton City Library.
