Imagine Your Story Summer Reading 2020

Kid’s Summer Reading Program at Beaverton City Library

All kids from birth to grade five can read 15 hours of to be a part of the Kids Summer Reading program to read and earn a free book!

  • Participate: Beginning June 1 you can Print a reading log or make your own. Starting this summer there is no need to sign up!
  • Read, Listen, Learn: Read or be read to for 15 hours, participate in library events, and try the activities on your reading log! Keep track of what you do by coloring in the shapes in your Reading Log for every 30 minutes you spend reading, listening, or doing a family activity.
  • Visit to the library: Bring your completed Reading Log to the library to collect your free book! Stay tuned for how we will get your book to you safely.


Key Dates

  • June 1: Start reading!
  • July 1:  First day to pick your free book 
  • August 15: Last day to pick your free book
