Kid’s Summer Reading Program at Beaverton City Library
All kids from birth to grade five can complete 15 hours of reading, listening, or doing a family activities to be a part of the Kids Summer Reading program and earn a free book!
Read. Listen. Learn.
Read: Read anything you want! Read to yourself or to someone else. (If your child is not reading on their own, you can count the time someone reads to them.)
Listen: Audiobooks, Tumblebooks, and being read to count.
Learn: Count time participating in storytimes and other library programs and the time you spend doing family activities together.
Keep track of the time you read, listen, and learn with a reading log from the library, or make your own log.
