Beaverton Library Foundation

The Beaverton Library Foundation was created to support the library by providing funding to enhance library programs and services. Foundation funds are managed by an independent board of directors.

Every year, a large portion of the library's Summer Reading program is funded by Foundation. In recent years, Foundation contributions have enhanced teen programs and services, increased materials in the large print collection, added materials to the World Language and English as a Second Language collections, and made available an adaptive technology workstation so that users with vision impairments can have better access to both printed and electronic resources.

Revenues are raised through a variety of programs. All contributions are tax deductible. Those interested in working with the Foundation or making a contribution to the library can email the Foundation or call 503-520-8599.
