Library Advisory Board

Beginning May 1, 2022, emergency state legislation regarding public meetings will have expired. As a result, the city will no longer require Advisory Boards, Commissions and Neighborhood Association Committees (NACs) to record their meetings, with limited exceptions. Participants are encouraged to attend virtual meetings by utilizing the Zoom link posted on monthly meeting agendas.

Powers & Duties

The Board serves in an advisory capacity to the Library Director, the Mayor, and City Council on matters pertaining to Beaverton City Library. The Board approves expenditures from the Library Trust Fund.
