Little Brother

Little Brother
by Cory Doctorow (YA Doctorow)

Marcus and his friends have a great life, obfuscating their school's security system, writing code, and performing minor hacking jobs here and there. They're experts at escaping from the classroom...which is precisely what lands them in hot water following a massive terrorist attack on San Francisco. Snatched by the DHS, Marcus & co. are taken to a remote location and tortured.

After being released, Marcus vows to bring down the DHS by organizing disaffected youth on his covert X-Box network. Little Brother is a fast-paced, modern sci-fi action story that seems frighteningly real.
