Craft Club

Spend some after school time making a fun project. Craft Club is for kids Kindergarten thru Grade 5 and their favorite grown-up. Space is limited to 15 kids and 15 grown-ups. December's project will be making a Mitten Wreath.

Book Buddies is a book discussion group for third through fifth graders that meets once a month. December's book is "Ivy + Bean" by Annie Barrows. When you register for Book Buddies you will receive a copy of this book to check out from the library.

Come learn about how children learn music by participating in a fun music class based on music education principles developed by Dr. Edwin Gordon. All will participate in an hour long class with singing, chanting and dancing.

Join us for a showing of a recent feature film. Saturday's movie tells the story of Lucy, Peter, Edmund and Susan. They discover an entryway into a mystical world through an old wardrobe. Sunday's movie continues the story of Lucy, Peter, Edmund and Susan. They return to their fantastical land to help a prince regain his throne.

This program is for all ages. The running time for Saturday's movie is 135 minutes. The running time for Sunday's movie is 149 minutes. Both films are rated PG.

Plan to spend some time over the winter school break making some kid-friendly crafts. Winter Craft Time is for children Kindergarten through 5th grade. You can drop by any time between 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.on either day and create something fun to take home.

Read to the Dogs

Improve your reading skills and make a new friend by reading aloud to therapy dogs. The dogs and handlers are from the Dove Lewis Animal Assisted Therapy and Education Program. This program is for children who are reading on their own. Sessions are 20 minutes in length. Space in this program is limited.
