It's as easy as 1-2-3

1. Sign up at the Beaverton City Library Main or Murray Scholls, or online.  We'll get you started on your summer reading with a free book donated by the New Friends of the Beaverton City Library!
2. Read books, get great reading suggestions delivered to your email inbox, and fill out a book review or two!
3. Be entered to win in regular prize drawings just for signing up, and if you also submit a book review, be entered into prize drawings for gift cards to local business and the grand prize drawing at the end of the summer.

Registration starts on Wednesday, June 1, 2016
Registration ends on Sunday, July 31, 2016

Submit book reviews Wednesday, June 1 through Wednesday, August 31, 2016

To sign up for Summer Reading for Adults, you must be at least 18 years of age.  Go to

Prizes include WCCLS Reads tote bags, WCCLS water bottles, and $10 gift certificates to local businesses:
  • Beaverton Bakery
  • Beaverton Farmer's Market
  • Beaverton Sub Station
  • New Seasons Market
  • Ome Calli Frozen Treats

Grand Prizes include a tablet computer, reading-themed gift baskets, and tickets to Beaverton Civic Theatre's Fall and Winter shows.  The grand prize drawings will be held in September.
