Classes

Classes and labs are free and held in the upstairs Computer Classroom. Classes and are taught by volunteers and library staff.

Introduction to Computer Basics: This is a hands-on introduction to the computer and the Windows environment for those with very little or no computer experience. Registration required.

Introduction to PowerPoint: This is an introduction to PowerPoint, the slide presentation program.  You need to have some computer experience and keyboarding skills. Registration Required.

Beginning Excel—Level 1: This is an introduction to Excel, the spreadsheet program. It is necessary to have basic math skills and some computer and keyboarding experience. Registration required.

Beginning Excel—Level 2: This is a continuation of the Level 1 Excel class  introducing students to more features of the spreadsheet program. It is necessary to first take the Level 1 Excel class before this one or to have some Excel experience. Registration required.

Intermediate Excel—Formulas & Functions: This class covers commonly used  Excel formulas and functions. You must have a good working knowledge of  Excel or take the Beginning level Excel classes before taking this class. Registration required.

Intermediate Excel—Pivot Tables, etc.: This class shows how to use Pivot Tables, Filtering and how to record a Macro. You must have a good working knowledge of Excel or take the two Beginning level Excel classes before taking this class. Registration required.
